Privacy Notice

Last updated August 2026. This notice explains what Derek T. Roll LLC, doing business as Anchor Notary Group, does with your information.

What we collect

When you book, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the location of the appointment and a short description of what you need notarized. That is it.

At the appointment, we examine your government photo ID to verify your identity. We record the type of identification, the issuing authority and its expiry in our notary journal, as Florida law requires. We do not photocopy or scan your ID.

Our notary journal

Florida law requires notaries to keep a journal of notarial acts. It records the date, the type of act, the type of document, the identification presented and the signer signature. This journal is a legal record and we retain it as long as the law requires.

Online notarization

Remote online notarizations run on BlueNotary, a Florida-approved platform. Identity verification and the audio-video recording are handled by that platform under its own privacy policy. Florida law requires the recording to be retained for at least ten years.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with marketers. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Who we share with

Only where necessary: the title company or lender who engaged us for a loan signing, our online notarization platform, and any authority entitled to inspect a notary journal by law.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Journal entries required by Florida law cannot be deleted on request.

This site runs on Squarespace, which sets cookies for basic operation and analytics. Your browser settings control these.
